比賽邀請中學生以「美好時光」為題，創作數碼影像，並運用「全息圖」模擬台上演出效果，以鼓勵學生綜合和運用科學、科技、工程、藝術與數學的知識和技能，從而提升解難能力和創造力，培養他們對相關範疇 的學習興趣，以及對生活的正面價值觀和態度。
比賽分為初中組 (中一至中三）及高中組 (中四至中六 ），各組 均設全場總冠軍、最佳影像創作獎及優異獎。作品將於學生視覺藝術作品展2022/23 中展出，並於課程發展處 e 展館展示。

疫情嚴峻，學生活動大多需要取消或延期，相信不少同學在居家防疫期間都希望能自我增值，而對科技發展感興趣的同學，更可能想藉防疫距離下，可以真實體驗科技發展所帶來的好處和方便。為此，教育局STEM教育中心準備了以下兩個免費STEM相關活動，以網上工作坊形式進行，誠邀同學參與。
